Where can I buy your peanut butter?

If you are in New Zealand you can purchase our peanut butter from our online store, as well as most supermarkets and specialty food stores nationwide. If you're outside NZ, follow the relevant link in our shop page.

IS YOUR PEANUT BUTTER GLUTEN-FREE?

We don't add gluten containing ingredients to any of our peanut butters. However, as the ingredients we handle may have come into contact with gluten containing ingredients we can't guarantee that there has been no cross contamination. As such, there is a very small chance that there may be gluten present.

IS YOUR PEANUT BUTTER VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN?

All of our peanut butters are vegetarian! Our Super Crunchy, Smooth, Smoke & Fire and Fruit Toast peanut butter are also vegan friendly. However, our Dark Chocolate peanut butter may contain traces of dairy, and our Honey peanut butter is not vegan friendly as it contains honey.

IS YOUR PEANUT BUTTER DAIRY FREE?

All of our peanut butters are dairy free, except for our Dark Chocolate peanut butter  - this may contain traces of dairy as the chocolate we use is made on a line that also handles dairy products.

IS YOUR PEANUT BUTTER SOY FREE?

Our Dark Chocolate peanut butter contains a small amount of soy lecithin - this is an ingredient in the chocolate that we use. All our other varieties are soy free.

IS YOUR PEANUT BUTTER SUGAR FREE?

Our Smooth, Super Crunchy, and Smoke and Fire peanut butters are totally free from added sugars. Our Honey and Fruit Toast peanut butters do contain some sugar, but it is unrefined sugar from natural sources (honey and fruit). Our Dark Chocolate peanut butter has a very small amount of refined sugar as it's an ingredient in the chocolate we use - much less than other, similar, chocolate spreads!

WHERE DO YOUR PEANUTS COME FROM?

Our peanuts come from in and around the Córdoba region in Argentina, and you can read more about our travels to Córdoba in our Journal.

ARE YOUR PEANUTS REGULARLY TESTED FOR HARMFUL BACTERIA LIKE AFLATOXIN?

Yes, we regularly lab test all of our peanut butters. 

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY PEANUT BUTTER, DOES IT NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?

Our peanut butter doesn't need to be refrigerated, but we recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight and storing it in a cool, dry place.

WHAT IS THE WHITE STUFF ON MY DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER?

This is called cocoa bloom and is totally normal! It's just the cocoa solids separating a little, it’s more likely to happen in winter than summer as colder weather can ‘set’ the chocolate a little. If you find your jar has bloomed, try sitting it in some warm water for a few minutes. The cocoa solids will melt and you’ll be able to stir them right back in.

WHY IS THERE OIL ON TOP OF MY PEANUT BUTTER?

Because we don’t add any weird stuff (think additives and emulsifiers we’re not sure how to pronounce) to our peanut butter the natural peanut oil separates over time. Nothing to worry about - just give it a stir and you’re good to go!

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We don’t offer international shipping from our online shop. However, if you’re overseas and would really like some of our peanut butter get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to help you out - so far we’ve sent peanut butter to the UK, Germany, Japan, Canada, America and Singapore. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

You should receive your order within 3-5 working days. Please note that we don't dispatch on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. 

I MADE  A MISTAKE, HOW CAN I EDIT MY DETAILS? 

If you've made a mistake when entering your details (e.g. forgot to add your flat number), send us an email at info@fixandfogg.co.nz and we'll do our best to catch it in time!

What is your returns policy?

We're unable to accept returns for our peanut butter, but if you feel that there is something wrong with the peanut butter you purchased or it was broken in transit please contact us and we will replace it.
